The Briton had aimed at Flanders, but his preparation has been less than ideal. He crashed out of Tirreno-Adriatico and suffered a concussion in the process which took him out of Milano-Sanremo but also of the E3 Saxo Classic which he was to use as preparation for the big one.
He returned to competition at Dwars door Vlaanderen where he's shown decent form and finished in the peloton. There
Jhonatan Narváez showed good legs and was on the attack, and will be another card for the team.
Ben Turner himself has recently returned from injury but was on great display at E3 in service of Filippo Ganna.
The team will have Luke Rower at the helm as an experienced rider that will race here for the 10th time. Youth in Magnus Sheffield and
Kim Heiduk, as well as
Connor Swift complete the lineup likely in support.
