Gaudu, Madouas and Storer form strong Groupama - FDJ block towards Critérium du Dauphiné mountains

Groupama - FDJ have decided to put all of their strengths in the mountains up for the Tour de France, and at the Critérium du Dauphiné they will be testing a significant amount of their block as they seek stage wins and GC success.

Having finished third at the recent Mercan'Tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes David Gaudu showed he is back to form and but will mostly eye the Dauphiné as preparation for the Tour. The time-trial will make it difficult for him to target the podium, but the final two stages and the finale in Sancy will be opportunities to grab a stage win. The team comes stacked with support, or other cards to play in the mountains.

Valentin Madouas, after finishing on the podium of the Tour des Flandres now will focus on some different terrain; Michael Storer will be preparing for his Tour de France debut after a breakthrough Vuelta a España and Rudy Molard.

Bruno Armirail and Kevin Geniets may also target the hilly stages in breakaways besides supporting the climbers, and Olivier Le Gac completes the lineup.
