Groupama - FDJ have decided to put all of their strengths in the mountains up for the Tour de France, and at the Critérium du Dauphiné they will be testing a significant amount of their block as they seek stage wins and GC success.
Having
finished third at the recent Mercan'Tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes David Gaudu showed he is back to form and but will mostly eye the Dauphiné as preparation for the Tour. The time-trial will make it difficult for him to target the podium, but the final two stages and the finale in Sancy will be opportunities to grab a stage win. The team comes stacked with support, or other cards to play in the mountains.
