Doug Ryder, manager of the late Qhubeka-NextHash, has been in the works over the last year to rebuild a new pro team, and the first names that will be part of it have been revealed.
VeloNews have released a report in which they confirm three World Tour riders who will be joining the new team, likely to be based in Switzerland, and backed by a South African billionaire. Many rumours had emerged over the last few months over details on the possibility of the team emerging, but the most recent update comes as a confirmation that the project will begin in the coming season.
Team BikeExchange - Jayco's Damien Howson will be one of the riders involved with the team, putting an emphasis on the climbing and stage-racing, and he will be joined by Italian veteran Gianluca Brambilla from Trek - Segafredo.
Brambilla's teammate Matteo Moschetti has been hinted as the third rider to have already signed a contract for the new season, providing the team already with safety regarding the possible level it can reach in the flat terrain.
