Barely a day goes by without
Ben Healy showing his face at the front of the 2024
Tour de France. Sadly for the Irishman however, the wait for a first Tour de France stage win goes on after another close call on stage 14.
Last man standing from the day's breakaway, Healy was solo on the slopes of the Pla d'Adet with just under a minute's advantage over the general classification challengers. When the attacks from the group of the Maillot Jaune started however, Healy was caught and passed by UAE Team Emirates duo
Adam Yates and
Tadej Pogacar as the latter fired to stage victory, extending his advantage at the top of the GC in the process.
