Colombian cycling is ready to shine once again on the world stage of the 2024 Tour de France. Despite the absence of a legendary figure in Rigoberto Urán, the South American country has four riders of great quality to try to achieve stage victories or important general classifications.

1. Egan Bernal - INEOS Grenadiers.

Egan Bernal, winner of the Tour de France in 2019, returns as Carlos Rodriguez's super domestique/INEOS Grenadiers plan B in a powerful lineup for the British based team. With this being his fourth participation in the French Grand Tour, where he will seek to achieve again good sensations after having such a bad time in recent season, following the hard fall that almost cost him his life.

2. Santiago Buitrago - Bahrain Victorious

For Santiago Buitrago of the Bahrain - Victorious team, the 2024 Tour de France will mark his debut in this prestigious race. The young Colombian is a promising young rider with the potential to aspire to a place in the top 10 of the general classification and, above all, to try to get a victory in a high mountain stage.

3. Fernando Gaviria - Movistar Team.

Fernando Gaviria was surprisingly confirmed by Movistar Team to race his second edition of the Tour de France. Despite having competed in the Giro d'Italia, the rider from La Ceja will bring his power in the sprints for the Spanish team trying to get UCI points although it will be very difficult to win due to the tough competition of riders like Jasper Philipsen and Mark Cavendish among other sprinters.

4. Harold Tejada - Astana Qazaqstan Team.

Astana Qazaqstan Team's Harold Tejada will face his third Tour de France with the goal of excelling in the mountains and scoring a significant victory for his team. With his previous experience in the race and his ability to respond on demanding terrain, Tejada will be looking to make a positive mark on the mountainous days.
