Geoghegan Hart started the season well, winning two stages of the Tour of the Alps en route to overall victory at the race and being very well-positioned in the general classification of the Giro d'Italia before breaking his hip after crashing on a slippery descent.
That turned out to be the 28-year-old's final act in an
INEOS Grenadiers jersey as he's set to join
Lidl-Trek for 2024. "Grateful to have had time with plenty of special people in the last months amongst the daily grind of this rehab," Geoghegan Hart's Instagram post concludes. "Thanks to everyone in my circle for the support."
