Startlist Drome Classic 2026 | Riders: Ben Healy, Matteo Jorgenson, Quinn Simmons, Egan Bernal, António Morgado and more

On the 1st of March the peloton takes on the Drome Classic. The French race is the second in a weekend that features two explosive one-day races in the Ardèche region. We take a look at its startlist.
The race is younger than its weekend sibling the Faun-Ardèche Classic, however it has a similarly strong reputation. Although its debut edition in 2013 was cancelled due to snow, in 2014 Romain Bardet rode to victory before he would go on to become one of the country's most popular figures in modern cycling. In 2022 Jonas Vingegaard notably took his only one-day race victory, building towards his first Tour de France win.
Anthony Perez won in 2023, Marc Hirschi won in 2024 and in 2025 it was Juan Ayuso who took the victory after a solo attack ahead of Mattias Skjelmose.

Egan Bernal, Paul Lapeira, Marc Hirschi, Lenny Martínez, Quinn Simmons, Mattias Skjelmose, Ben Healy, Christian Scaroni, Matteo Jorgenson, Jan Christen, António Morgado, Romain Grégoire and Alex Aranburu are expected to be at the race.

- This excuse is harmless, just quaint and amusing. The excuse I really disliked was when he accused a mechanic of improperly adjusting his saddle, endangering the mechanic's job: blaming others for your own limitations is a serious matter.
