The 2025 edition of the Cro Race will take place from the 30th of September all the way to the 5th of October, and will be one of the final high-level stage-races of the season. We take a look at its startlist.

The 2025 edition marks the tenth running of the modern Tour of Croatia, and the sixth under the “CRO Race” name — a race that has steadily carved out a niche in the autumn European calendar. Since its revival in 2015, the event has evolved from a modest five-stage “Tour of Croatia” into a six-day race which will this year provide opportunities for the sprinters, climbers and classics riders all to thrive.

The race features seven World Tour teams, of which we expect most of the contenders for the overall classification victory and also to battle for most stage wins. UAE Team Emirates - XRG, INEOS Grenadiers, Soudal - Quick-Step, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe, Team Jayco AlUla, Bahrain - Victorious and Arkéa - B&B Hotels all come in, mostly with lineups that mix their elite team riders but also provide a few development team men to race with the best in the world and gain valuable experience.

Defending champion Brandon McNulty will be at the start and UAE is likely the team to beat in this race, whilst former winners of the race also include the likes of Adam Yates, Vincenzo Nibali, Matej Mohoric, Stephen Williams and even current Movistar rider Orluis Aular, showcasing the diversity of winners in this event.

UAE will have in its lineup the likes of Brandon McNulty and Tim Wellens who should be amongst the main favourites for the race. Urko Berrade; Damiano Caruso under-23 Giro winner Jalob Omrzel represent Bahrain - Victorious; INEOS comes in with Ben Turner, Magnus Sheffield and Michal KwiatkowskI and this makes for the bulk of the GC riders.

Meanwhile sprinters such as Dylan Groenewegen, Paul Magnier and Danny van Poppel will also certainly provide some thrilling high-speed action at the end of the sprint stages.
