Start Times & Order UAE Tour Stage 2 - Remco Evenepoel opts for surprisingly early start with Isaac del Toro forced to finish the day

Stage 2 of the UAE Tour brings the race’s first decisive GC test, with a 12.2-kilometre individual time trial around Hudayriyat Island expected to establish the early hierarchy among the overall contenders.
With the official start order now confirmed, the time trial is clearly split into two phases: early specialists setting reference times, and late starters riding with full knowledge of what is required.
Also worth noting that whilst the likes of Remco Evenepoel and Joshua Tarling have free rein to pick and choose their place in the order, GC leader Isaac del Toro was forced to go last by virtue of his place atop the general classification.
The first rider down the ramp will be Remi Cavagna at 12:50 CET, tasked with laying down the opening benchmark.

- Remco Evenepoel starts at 12:54 local time, placing the pre-race favourite early on the road and in position to set a reference rather than chase one.
- Joshua Tarling follows at 13:15 local time, with conditions expected to remain stable across his ride.
- Ethan Hayter begins at 13:22 local time, riding in the same early to mid window as several other strong time trial specialists.
- Isaac Del Toro, the race leader after Stage 1, is the final rider to start at 15:14 local time, giving him a clear target as he attempts to defend the leader’s jersey.
