Stage 1

A late crash at around 1km to go, saw sprint favourite Jonathan Milan hit the deck hard, although initial reports state the Italian has avoided any serious injury. Leadout expert Jarrad Drizners was also involved, among others.
Earlier in the day, Cole Kessler and Byron Munton of the Modern Adventure time both went down in a crash, although both finished the stage.
