Road World Championships Start Times & Order Time Trial Men Rwanda

The Kigali World Championships Cycling begin this Sunday the 21st of September and whilst the women's face a 31-kilometer long Time Trial, the men have 40 kilometers on the menu and both race will take place on the same day. We take a look at the start times and order of all riders including the main favourites in Remco Evenepoel and Tadej Pogacar.

The women's race will take place at the start of the day, with Rwanda's Xaverine Nirere being the first to begin her effort at 10:22 CET time. For almost two hours there will be rider setting off with 2:30 minutes between each other until the start of Anna Henderson, Chloé Dygert and Demi Vollering. The Dutchwoman will be the last in the start ramp and will start her effort at 12:10CET.

After the podium celebrations, the riders will begin to prepare their effort, and home rider Shemu Nsengiyumva will be the first to begin his effort at 13:45CET. As is the case with the women, the riders will start with intervals of 2:30 minutes between each other, making overtakes quite difficult. All 55 riders will start their race until defending champion Remco Evenepoel sets off at 16:00 CET.
