Soudal - Quick-Step look to save spring at Tour of Flanders in absence of many favourites

Following one of the worst Flemish Classics campaign in the team's history, there wouldn't seem to be much hope for Soudal - Quick-Step to turn things around at Tour of Flanders. However in absence of numerous pre-race favourites due to Dwars door Vlaanderen crash, there might be a chance to step up their game and save the spring at the Monument.

"Ronde is a race that never lies, a race where only the strong riders have prevailed. We have a good team for Sunday, featuring a Flanders winner, and we are going to the start with a lot of confidence. It’s true that we have suffered a bit in the previous races, but things can change quite quickly and we hope for a strong race," said sports director Tom Steels.
