Škoda extend their partnership with Tour de France organiser ASO until 2028

Since 2004, Škoda have been a sponsor of the Tour de France and they have now extended their partnership with race organiser ASO until 2028. The Czech car brand has been the sponsor of the green points classification jersey at the Tour de France since 2015, having previously sponsored the white youth classification jersey.

In addition to the Tour de France, Škoda also sponsors several other races that are organised by ASO, such as the Critérium du Dauphiné, Paris-Nice and the Tour de France Femmes, as well as Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Škoda have also extended their agreement with Unipublic, who are a subsidiary of ASO and are the organisers of the Vuelta a España and La Vuelta Femenina.

They are therefore an incredibly important sponsor within the sport and are vital to the financial sustainability of professional cycling. Škoda’s commitment to sponsoring women’s cycling also cannot be understated, as they are clearly dedicated to creating parity between the men’s and women’s side of the sport.
