Cofidis is arguably one of the teams that sets to the start of the
Giro d'Italia with one of the most modest lineups; they will be chasing stage wins from the breakaways with a lineup that features
Simon Geschke and
Benjamin Thomas as the leaders.
The two riders stand chances of winning a stage, most likely in the hilly days that the Corsa Rosa will go through. The team can also count on
Stefano Oldani who has won such a day back in 2022 whilst riding for Alpecin-Fenix.
The team will back up
Stanislaw Aniolkowski for the sprints as an outsider. The lineup is completed by a few riders who should have as their priority to feature in the breakaways, give sponsor exposure and possibly wear one of the leader's jerseys:
Nicolas Debeaumarché,
Thomas Champion, Rubén Fernandéz and
Harrison Wood.
