Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes marks the finale of the Ardennes classics for the women's peloton. Set for April 27th, it brings a spectacular close to the extended period of spring classics. We take a look at it's profile.
This race could be named Bastogne - Liège actually, starting in the city right by border with Luxembourg. It is the same finale as the men's race featuring plenty climbs, as has been the case for the past few years.
These include the Côte de la Redoute (1.5Km at 9.1%) and the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons (1.2Km at 11%), alongside it's many other small and explosive ascents, each can be decisive for the race - before the downhill finale into Liège.
