Second placed rider in the overall classification Ion Izagirre took a brilliant stage win in the queen stage, but
Cofidis have finished the race third in terms of financial rewards and
Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team stormed to a second place after they took a win with Julian Alaphilippe, led the race for a day and finished fourth with Remco Evenepoel, which was combined with several strong stage results and jersey wearing - aswell as Evenepoel's win of the youth classification.
All the stages were won by riders and/or teams who were fighting for the overall classification, so they have stormed the first positions. Jumbo-Visma led the race almost from start to finish with Primoz Roglic which gave them a nice bonus for fourth, whilst third placed Aleksandr Vlasov boosted the team into fifth.
