The Tour of Turkey will be held from April 21st to 28th, spanning one of the longest stage-races in the cycling calendar and traversing a substantial part of the country. This race offers ample opportunities for riders of diverse specialties. Here's a preview of the upcoming event.
As we read on CyclingUpToDate, stage 4 begins with a climb right from the start in Marmaris which sets the tone for the day. Into Bodrum, it's a day that is expected to end in a sprint but not between all riders, as a few ascents and the uphill drag to the line will limit the amount of riders capable of fighting for victory.

- Having trained on French roads for hours without pro riders in vicinity, yet seeing them near the end of rides in passing, it must be said this story is lacking context details. Public roads are for the public. If teams wish for private access, they should get permits for road closures. Otherwise, hire sweeper riders to shadow the pros and discuss rules of the road with non-team riders who are sharing the roads.itsent28-01-2026
