PREVIEW | Grand Prix de Denain 2023

Preview. On the 16th of March the riders will set off for the Grand Prix de Denain, one of the few pure cobbled classics of the season, a race that will give the riders a little taste of Paris-Roubaix, whilst allowing more riders and team to succeed.

With 195.7 kilometers in distance it can't be considered a large classic in comparison to the ones that follow it in the month ahead, however the difficulties lie in the cobbled sectors and the fear of the unexpected. The first half of the race is mostly flat around the town of Denain, but the second half includes 12 sectors with a total distance of 22.8 kilometers of cobbled roads.
