PREVIEW | Etoile de Besseges 2025 stage 2 - Can Magnier once again defeat the likes of Meeus, Pedersen and De Lie?

From the 5th of February to the 9th, the peloton is in France and will race the Etoile de Bessèges. It is the opening stage-race of the French calendar in 2025. We preview stage 2.
Stage 2 is the day perhaps best suit to the fast men. Although it's not completely flat, the finale in Marguerittes will be well suited to the sprinters as long as they have decent form and climbing legs to make it there.

- I’d say without resolving the back problems you have no chance of resolving his state of mind. Now, back problems in young cyclists is probably going to become an issue like e.g. concussion in rugby & football. As we try to catch and form them for high performance younger and younger, we’re kind of obliging them to hone their TT skills earlier and earlier, certainly still during growth phases.
