On the 10th of April the riders take on the classic which makes the transition between the cobbled and Ardennes classics. De Brabantse Pijl provides both cobbles and climbs on a final circuit that every time provides a lot of spectacle. We preview the race ahead.
The 197-kilometer race fits the puncheurs and cobbled classics specialists. It provides an opportunity for many riders. The race revolves around it's final circuit in Overijse, where in 22 kilometers the riders find four ascents, two of them cobbled, and one corresponding to the finish. It's a highly explosive route which is very hard to control and very often leads to exciting and dramatic racing.
