Peter Sagan to race Tirreno-Adriatico

TotalEnergies have announced their lineup for Tirreno-Adriatico and it includes Peter Sagan after he tested negative twice for Covid, despite being ill for the past week, where he will be looking to get some form for Milano-Sanremo and the cobbled classics.

Sagan will be eyeing the sprint stages where he will have the support of the team's classics block - except Anthony Turgis - with Daniel Oss and Maciej Bodnar, both who've shown great form this season, present. Edvald Boasson Hagen is also expected to be there in support and possibly as the option for the sprints if Sagan fails to perform.

As for the overall classification the team is having Spanish climber Cristián Rodríguez leading the team. After having finished second at Vuelta a Andalucia he is on great form, where he can keep impressing within World Tour competition.

TotalEnergies for Tirreno-Adriatico: Peter Sagan, Edvad Boasson Hagen, Daniel Oss, Cristián Rodríguez, Maciej Bodnar, Valentin Ferron and Julien Simon.
