Pello Bilbao has spoken with his colleagues from the Spanish radio stations, after the seventh stage of the Tour de France that finished in Bordeaux and has highlighted the heat that the riders have experienced during the race so far.
"The change in temperature has been noticed, luckily it was a flat stage where you suffer less, we are not used to this heat."

The Basque rider was questioned about the performance of the Bahrain Victorious in the first mountain stages and about his objectives in the Grande Boucle. He makes it very clear that he is not at all interested in the general classification and that he will try to fight in stages:
"Of course we would have liked to be further up, but it couldn't be and we've minimized those losses. The GC is not my goal, Mikel told me that if I wanted to go forward I should shoot, but I haven't come for the GC, I'll try a stage. Sunday could be a good day and why not try it there."
