Bahrain - Victorious has had it's leaders start their season with good form and at Strade Bianche they will try to take advantage of it. Pello Bilbao and Matej Mohoric are both strong contenders for a victory in Siena.
Bilbao has just recently finished fourth at the UAE Tour, on a consistent run of form which has seen him finish third at the Tour Down Under and be near the front ever since. His technical abilities on the bike will be of an immense help on the treacherous gravel roads the riders will be facing.

As for Matej Mohoric he's been building form throughout February and has put it to use on the Opening Weekend, where on both occasions he was on the attack and riding with the very best. Another technical beast on the bike, the Slovenian starts as one of the big favourites to reach the Piazza del Campo first.
They will be having the support of Andrea Pasqualon and Hermann Pernsteiner as more experienced figures, but also the young likes of Matevz Govekar, Rainer Kepplinger and Fran Miholjevic.
