Pablo Castrillo was the revelation of the last Vuelta a España with two impressive victories in high mountain stages and has become the star signing of a Movistar Team that managed to secure a late and quality rider for it's future after he was almost confirmed by INEOS Grenadiers.

In statements to AS a few days ago, the Aragonese has assured that he is very excited to land in a squad in which he hopes to continue achieving triumphs: "I'm looking forward to joining a great Spanish team, a historic team, and I want to do my best and take part in many races with them".

It is clear that moving from a ProTeam to a World Tour squad is a big leap in his career, especially because he will be able to compete in better races. He's more eager to try Grand Tours: "Being in a World Tour team gives you the option to be in a lot of races. I would still tell you a grand tour, as it's always something different."

He assures that his future did not distract him to perform with Kern Pharma until the end despite the numerous rumors that arose: "I tried to put it aside to always focus as much as possible on racing and competition, and also to improve, but the truth is that there were times when I had a hard time. It was worth it and I'm already looking forward to starting".

Finally he was asked by Daniel Miranda about the dreams he would like to fulfill with his new team. Castrillo is very clear that the dream he had to fulfill was fulfilled in the last Vuelta and that now what he has to do is to continue fighting for victories of all kinds, something that is undoubtedly needed by a team in great need ofl victories:

"Right now the truth is that I wouldn't know how to tell you because with the Vuelta a España I've done enough and I'm a little saturated. To continue winning stages, adding victories... that would make me happy. I'm going to rest my mind, spend time with my family and enjoy them, disconnecting before starting a new challenge".
