The Soudal - Quick-Step equipment for the 2025 season will officially be revealed this morning at the team's ongoing training camp in Calpe, but the team's new colours are already public. The jersey features only a small change with a 'smokey' texture in the torso, just as we've seen with UAE Team Emirates.
Journalist Daniel Benson is on the ground in Calpe and has seen the new jersey that the Belgian team will be wearing next year. The picture soon began to circle around social media. It is a small change, not meaningful... This is only the second big news of the week however as earlier on, team founder Patrick Lefevere shared that he would step down as team CEO after decades on the job.
The team has in the meantime officialized their gear change, with Mikel Landa headlining the reveal video. Remco Evenepoel is currently at home resting from a crash suffered in training recently, but the rest of the team is building on the new season now in a new style:
"Combining the dark blue and red with a lighter shade of blue as a nod to our team’s rich history, the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 kit is a fresh fusion of colours similar to the dynamism of a moving cyclist, and we can’t wait to show it on the road next year," the team wrote in a social media post.
