The 1 rider who beat Tadej Pogacar at this year's Giro d'Italia will support him at 2025 Tour de France - UAE Team Emirates have 7 'confirmed' for Tour lineup

UAE Team Emirates have such an extremely strong team that choosing a lineup for the Tour de France is legitimately a difficult mission. We have learn over the past few days that Juan Ayuso will not race the Tour, but supporting Tadej Pogacar will be a team of only big hitters. Jhonatan Narváez seems to have hinted that he has also been chosen to race the Grand Boucle next summer, which would be his debut in the French Grand Tour.

Immediately from the media day of UAE, it was possible to within minutes confirm the presence of three riders at the Tour. Pogacar obviously; Adam Yates who will race it after the Giro d'Italia; and João Almeida who could once again be Pogacar's right-hand man (before also racing the Vuelta a España). The rooms were packed with stars, and there's a huge feeling of internal competition just to make it into the Tour.

Juan Ayuso and Isaac del Toro will be racing the Giro d'Italia only, riders such as Pablo Torres and António Morgado confirmed they will not race Grand Tours in 2025, but this still leaves plenty cards on the table. Igor Arrieta, Jay Vine and Rafal Majka are also reported by Relevo to be focusing on the Corsa Rosa this upcoming season and may not be on the selection for the Tour thereafter.

The trio at the Tour is likely to be joined by Nils Politt who has shown himself to be a perfect man for the flat roads this year; Tim Wellens who will not race the Ardennes classics and should have the Tour as a priority... Jhonatan Narváez has also told the Spanish news outlet that he would be making his debut at the Tour, which would confirm spot number 6 for the race.

Pavel Sivakov is highly likely to also be part of the team which would leave only one spot available to fill - riders such as Marc Soler, Florian Vermeersch and Brandon McNulty being great contenders for it.
