The 2026 Tour de Suisse may have been shortened to five days, but the risk of attrition remains high across a route that starts with steep Italian roads and ends with a mountain stage in Villars-sur-Ollon. Crashes, illness, heat, fatigue and withdrawals can quickly reshape the race, especially with many riders using Suisse as one of their final tests before the Tour de France.
This live Tour de Suisse medical reports and withdrawals hub will be updated throughout the race with the latest confirmed injuries, DNS updates and DNF news from every stage.
As teams release medical statements and riders undergo further checks after crashes or illness, this page will track all verified developments affecting the 2026 Tour de Suisse peloton.
From pre-race non-starters to mid-stage abandonments and post-stage medical updates, this page will follow every confirmed rider withdrawal and injury update across the 2026 Tour de Suisse.

Stage 1

Oliver Peace of Team Picnic PostNL finished 43:27 down on stage winner Tadej Pogacar and was outside the time cut, which was set at 4:00:11, or 31:20 behind the winner. Owain Doull of Team Visma | Lease a Bike and Matthew Dinham of Team Picnic PostNL both recorded DNFs.
Alessandro Pinarello of NSN Cycling Team did not start the stage, having already been confirmed as a DNS before the race began.

Stage 2

It was a challenging day for Uno-X Mobility, who lost two riders. Both Markus Hoelgaard and Fredrik Dversnes Lavik were both DNF's. Team Picnic PostNL also lost Tim Naberman to DNF, meaning they are already down to four riders.
