Throughout the past two months we have had a lot of action in the spring classics, all the way from Omloop Het Nieuwsblad to Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Mathieu van der Poel only began his season at Milano-Sanremo, but was the rider who earned the most money through results in the one-day races.
Sporza has made the math and at the top of the chart is, without surprise, the winner of the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix and E3 Saxo Classic. With podium results at Gent-Wevelgem and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the World champion van der Poel was the highest earner throughout the spring classics. The only rider who came close was his own teammate Jasper Philipsen who won Milano-Sanremo and Classic Brugge-De Panne, and finished second in Paris-Roubaix.
In third place is Tadej Pogacar, winner of Strade Bianche and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. He was also third at Milano-Sanremo, but due to his small calendar he wouldn't reach the top riders. Mads Pedersen, Tim Merlier, Nils Politt, Tom Pidcock, Luca Mozzato, Matteo Jorgenson and Stephen Williams fill out the Top10.
