Team SD Worx dominated Itzulia Women, winning all stages. After Demi Vollering won the opening two stages, Marlen Reusser won the final day and the overall classification after a strong late attack.
A difficult day in the Basque hills it exploded from early on. Over the early climbs of the day a short group went up the road, but in the first large ascent of the day a small GC Group joined along. The day was to be decided later on, but mostly in the ascents.

Annemiek van Vleuten and Demi Vollering moved clear in the toughest and final climb of the day. They were shortly after in the flat section joined by Katarzyna Niewiadoma, Olivia Baril and Marlen Reusser. Immediately Reusser made a move, using Team SD Worx' numerical superiority.
She made a move with 13 kilometers to go and quickly built a gap. This extended to almost minute and a half and towards the final meters the chasing group had literal braking on flat roads. Reusser started the day in second place 56 seconds behind her teammate Vollering, but confidently overturned the GC.
2:37 minutes later Vollering crossed the line in second place, Katarzyna Niewiadoma rode to third.
