Lotto Dstny's Arjen Livyns in hospital after serious crash at Strade Bianche 2024

Arjen Livyns from Lotto Dstny crashed heavily during yesterday's edition of Strade Bianche 2024 and suffered several injuries. He was treated in hospital, where in addition to various abrasions, some injuries were also found on the 29-year-old's face.
Lotto Dstny had every reason to celebrate after Maxim Van Gils finished third on the podium. Unfortunately, this success was somewhat marred by Livyns' serious crash. Livyns was taken to hospital and treated immediately, requiring four stitches to repair a laceration above his right eye.
Various abrasions on his back and right shoulder had to be cleaned and treated. To rule out a dislocation of the right shoulder, Livyns will have to undergo further examinations in Belgium, Lotto Dstny announced.
