Lorena Wiebes sprinted to victory on the third stage of the 2023 Giro d'Italia Donne from the bunch.
After Annemiek van Vleuten's brilliant victory on the second stage, the first day of actual racing after the opening time-trial was cancelled due to the torrential rain, a calmer day of racing was seen on stage 3.
With just over 10km to go the break was reeled in. Lorena Wiebes it was that sprinted to victory from the bunch, edging out Marianne Vos.
