These are the 50 most followed WT and WWT cyclists on Instagram now. In addition to the type of content posted, there is a great importance of nationality. South American cyclists are the most followed.
Rigoberto Urán and Egan Bernal are the two cyclists (with a wide margin of difference with the rest) who have more followers on Instagram. The EF Education-EasyPost rider has almost 1.6 million followers and the INEOS rider has over 1.3 million. Third is Mathieu van der Poel, who narrowly misses the 1 million mark.
After Mathieu van der Poel, Julian Alaphilippe and Wout van Aert close the top 5. Sixth place for Tadej Pogacar ahead of Richard Carapaz, Mark Cavendish, Remco Evenepoel and a Primoz Roglic who closes the top 10.
In a list published by journalist and analyst Raul Banqueri showing the fifty with the most followers on the aforementioned social network, Colombians are clearly in the majority with more representatives in the list such as Esteban Chaves, Fernando Gaviria, Daniel Martinez or Sergio Higuita. The first Spaniard is Enric Mas, in 26th position, with Carlos Verona at the end of the table.
