Jay Vine latest name confirmed to be hospital-bound after Itzulia Basque Country crash also sees Evenepoel, Roglic & Vingegaard abandon

As the Itzulia Basque Country continues to be held at a standstill after a horrific crash, more and more information continues to emerge about the riders involved.
After the likes of Remco Evenepoel, and Jonas Vingegaard were rushed into the back of an ambulance and off the race, the latter even on the back of a stretcher with oxygen, and Primoz Roglic leaving in his team car, UAE Team Emirates' Jay Vine has now been confirmed by his team to also be travelling to hospital.
"Unfortunately, Jay Vine was involved in a bad crash. He was taken by ambulance to hospital," confirm his team on social media. "Updates to follow later."
Best wishes go out to all involved in this horror crash and as more information is revealed, we'll be sure to keep you updated.
