With the stage win already decided some five minutes earlier, the GC riders crossed the line in relative neutrality on stage 11 (aside from a late Remco Evenepoel burst). As such it's another day successfully ticked off for Sepp Kuss.
"It's very simple. I have to continue to do my best every day and enjoy the red jersey every day, as long as I wear it,” the American of Jumbo-Visma explains in his post-stage interview, playing it cool and refusing to look too far ahead.

Aside from the aforementioned late burst by Evenepoel that Kuss was quickly on to, it was a calm and quiet day for the general classification riders with them choosing to focus on the efforts on the days to come.
“Apparently everyone wanted to ride a nice pace. That was a little weird, but I'm not going to complain. It took a while for the break to pull away. There was also some wind all day, which was not easy. But that's all relative,” recaps Kuss. “Tomorrow? Ah yes, if the wind isn't blowing too hard, it will be a great day.”
