"I'm getting a bit scared" - Mathieu van der Poel, Remco Evenepoel and Alberto Contador react to Tadej Pogacar's roaring Strade Bianche win

The entire cycling world was glued to the screen this Saturday as Tadej Pogacar attacked to victory at Strade Bianche with over 80 kilometers to go and, with apparent comfort, put almost three minutes into his closest rivals to take an epic win. All throughout the cycling world, riders and fans have congratulated the Slovenian on an epic feat.

Pogacar's victory is the longest solo win at this level of racing for quite some years and also the biggest winning gap in the history of Strade Bianche. An immensely popular win, many other riders and big figures in pro cycling had nothing but complements after this victory. Some of his very biggest rivals congratulated him over Instagram.

Mathieu van der Poel replied with "Mate I'm getting a bit scared here." Remco Evenepoel shared a story with the caption "What can I say? It's actually pretty simple: Chapeau to this big champion. Unseen show".

Alberto Contador shared the same feeling: "Simple amazing. Let's enjoy that we don't race against him". Filippo Ganna also commented on the same post with the caption "chapeau bro". Many others were visible in the very popular post he's shared last afternoon from Siena.
