"I can't get enough of it" - Remco Evenepoel enjoys even more rain during a post-Fleche Wallonne training session

Wednesday's La Fleche Wallonne was a freezing experience for everyone present. The conditions caught up also to Olympic champion Remco Evenepoel who crossed the line in rather disappointing 9th place.

To embrace the rain, he set out on another cold adventure in today's training. He did so while some of his teammates (Pieter Serry, Mauri Vansevenant, Ilan Van Wilder and Maximilian Schachmann) went for a spin on the rollers inside.

"I can't get enough of it," wrote Evenepoel on his Strava. He clearly learned from his mistake during La Fleche Wallonne. "I didn't dare take off my rain jacket." After La Fleche Wallonne, Evenepoel said that he had taken off his rain jacket too quickly, causing the cold to take hold of him.
