The
Tour de France Femmes has came to a conclusion this weekend as the riders rode into the Vosges where
Annemiek van Vleuten decimated the competition and took the overall classification win. The race had a total
prize money of almost €250.000 and here is how it was distributed amongst the 24 teams.
The top prize was obtained naturally by
Movistar Team Women with €62.440,00 after the Dutch veteran's dominance in the overall classification. Two stage wins also had her top the rankings, whilst
Team SD Worx followed closely. The Dutch team - with €46.490,00 - won a stage with Marlen Reusser whilst Demi Vollering finished second in the overall classification and won the KOM classification.
Canyon//SRAM Racing have finished third with Katarzyna Niewiadoma's fourth place as the highlight of the race, Team Jumbo-Visma and Team DSM followed closely after having won two stages with Marianne Vos and Lorena Wiebes respectively, alongside several days in the yellow jersey and with Vos taking home the points classification.
Three teams - Arkéa Pro Cycling Team; Human Powered Health and Stade Rochelais Charente Maritime have failed to earn any prize money, for what was a complicated race for all of them.
