EF Education-EasyPost will be at the
Giro d'Italia with a very diverse team who will be focusing on stage wins with different cards, however with the option of fighting for the overall classification with
Hugh Carthy who will be hoping to return to his best level.
After finishing eighth last year,
Hugh Carthy will be hoping to improve on that career-best result at the
Giro d'Italia this year. With the long, steep ascents, the Briton will have a suitable route to his capacity however he hasn't shown his best form yet this season. A possible reason for concern, but at the same time it is possible that he has bid his timing very well towards the Corsa Rosa, having finished ninth at the recent Tour of the Alps in which he's faced several of his rivals who he will be riding with in the mountains.
