GC update Tour de France 2025 stage 14 - Pogacar increases lead to Vingegaard and Evenepoel abandons the race

The Tour de France has had major news this Saturday morning as Remco Evenepoel abandoned the race midway through the Col de Peyresourde. This changed the fight for the podium quite a lot, and we've seen some changes in the Top10 on what was the most mountainous day of the race so far.

At the top however that was not the case. After not attacking the final climb, Tadej Pogacar did sprint to the line to win 4 seconds on Jonas Vingegaard (and 2 in bonifications) on his rival, meaning the gap has grown to 4:13 minutes.

In third place we now have Florian Lipowitz, hence making the exact same order as the Criterium du Dauphiné. The German is 7:53 minutes away from the lead and is 1:25 ahead of Oscar Onley who is fifth. Kévin Vauquelin, Primoz Roglic and Tobias Johannessen follow, whilst Ben Healy and Carlos Rodríguez have moved into the Top10. Matteo Jorgenson dropped out of the GC fight as anticipated, and is now 15th.
