💥 7th time across the line for @MagnusSheffield as he suffers a nasty crash in a right hander #GirodItalia
After his 3rd placed finish in the first time-trial of the 2024 Giro d'Italia, INEOS Grenadiers' Magnus Sheffield was looking good to challenge for a stage podium yet again on stage 14. Sadly though, the American has just crashed.
The closest man to his teammate, Filippo Ganna at each of the first two time checks, Sheffield was pushing hard and flying around the course. Sadly, on one particular corner he pushed things a little too hard and was paid. Although slightly bruised and with his skinsuit ripped on the hip, Sheffield was able to quickly to remount thankfully.
