Dylan Teuns took part in a mid-season transfer to Israel - Premier Tech, and he has built up form to target the late-season classics, in which he will have strong opportunities to return to his winning ways.
“I’m looking forward to these Italian autumn classics. I’m really motivated," Dylan Teuns said in a press release. "My condition is still good and I’ve prepared well so I think I can be confident taking on these races.” He will be a leader for Israel - Premier Tech at the Coppa Agostini, Giro dell'Emilia, Tre Valli Varesine and Il Lombardia.
Teuns won Flèche Wallone earlier this season, and has in recent weeks been showing good form with Top5 positions at the Tour of Britain and the GP de Wallonie. Following his move to the Israeli team, the UCI rankings will see it relegating to Pro Team level with little chances of turning the tide around, but Teuns will nevertheless be seeking success in Italy to finish off the 2022 season.
The team has further revealed that Teuns will be racing alongside Jakob Fuglsang and Michael Woods at Il Lombardia, making for a very dangerous trio who can fight for the win in the final monument of the season.
