Dylan Groenewegen leads BikeExchange - Jayco in pursuit of points at BEMER Cyclassics

Dylan Groenewegen comes fresh off a dominant win at the Arctic Race of Norway, and as the majority of the best sprinters in the world, he will be present at the BEMER Cyclassics where he will be Team BikeExchange - Jayco's main card.

“I’m happy to be competing in the Hamburg classic again," Groenewegen said in a press release. "...I am in good condition at the moment, I came out of the Tour de France well and I’m coming to Hamburg after a stage win in the Arctic Race last week, so the confidence is high".

The Dutchman will be supported by his main leadout man Luka Mezgec if the race doesn't turn too hard for the pure sprinters, and Groenewegen is coming as a favourite despite the heavy field of fast men. BikeExchange won't have too many options, so they will have to count on their fast men to thrive.

Amund Jansen will also be expected to have an important role within the leadout, whilst Jack Bauer, Alexander Konychev, Campbell Stewart and Jan Maas will all have support roles within the team to try and keep the race as compact as possible.
