AG2R Citroën Team have secured one of it's most important riders in a long-term contract, as Dorian Godon will be representing the French team until at least 2025.
Godon has finished third on a sprint stage at the Vuelta a Catalunya this year, aswell as other high-quality Top10 finishes. A powerhouse, Godon has put himself in the spotlight by performing in the classics, both hilly and cobbled, besides having an open role frequently in the stage-races.
He's won six races since joining AG2R in 2019 - including two consecutive wins at Paris-Camembert - and is a crucial piece of the team's focus in the domestic calendar. Last year he won the French classic aswell as the Tour du Doubs and a stage at the Tour du Limousin. Godon is currently racing the Tour de Pologne where after four stages he sits in 18th position in the overall classification.
