Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana: Arnaud De Lie quick to open victory tally, outsprints Boasson Hagen and Biermans

Lotto Dstny have opened their victory tally into 2023 and without surprise it was Arnaud De Lie to bring in the first triumph. The young sprinter has once again impressed, with a dominant victory and the Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana.

The hilly race was favourable for attacks, however it came to a small bunch sprint towards the end. It was a slight uphill finish, but it didn't prevent the fast men in the group to take advantage. Having avoided a mass crash, de Lie sprinted to victory, beating Edvald Boasson Hagen and Jenthe Biermans who completed the podium.
