At the 1st climb a lot of attacks happened with stage favorite Mads Pedersen(Trek-Segafredo) loosing contact. A lot of attacks occurred during the climb A group around 50 riders was established and on the last climb Arnaud de Lie managed to remain with the front riders. On the descent Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost) made a dangerous attack that broke the peloton.
But despite the numerous attacks and a last km crash, all ended in a sprint with Arnaud de Lie (Lotto-Dstny) taking the best ahead of
Valentin Ferron (Total Energies) and Sam Watson (Groupama-FDJ).
