Team SD Worx - Protime have started the 2026 season with one of the most eye catching kit reveals of the winter. The Dutch WorldTeam have committed to a dramatic redesign built around colour, identity, and momentum. With Lotte Kopecky returning to full team colours for the first time since 2023, the launch immediately becomes one of the defining early storylines of the new year.

Kopecky: “A bold change… but we will certainly honour this jersey”

Kopecky says in a team press release, the jersey marks a personal and emotional return to familiar colours after two seasons defined by her world champion palette.
“This is a special jersey that will definitely stand out in the peloton,” she said. “It’s the first time since 2023 that I’ll be racing again in the team colours of SD Worx-Protime. That was a great season for me. I hope to achieve beautiful victories in this jersey in 2026. The kit is a bold change, which will take some time to get used to. But we will certainly honour this jersey.”
Her words give the new design immediate narrative weight. It becomes more than a kit unveil. It becomes part of her transition into what could be another defining season.

The New Dawn design: vivid, symbolic, and built around movement

The 2026 jersey steps away from previous iterations with a more intense, multi layered spark motif. Specialized worked with SD Worx and Protime to expand the spark into overlapping patterns of red, yellow, blue and a broad spectrum of colours. The visual effect is deliberately striking and designed to reinforce the team’s long standing message of reinvention.
SD Worx-Protime say the jersey reflects their belief in continuous evolution and their role in the growing professionalism of women’s cycling. The New Dawn theme positions the design as a statement about ambition as much as aesthetics.

Van der Breggen: “Colourful, powerful, and unique”

Team manager Anna van der Breggen sees the kit as an expression of how SD Worx - Protime want to present themselves both on and off the bike.
“The ‘New Dawn’ kit radiates energy and ambition. This design is colorful, powerful, and unique – exactly how we want to be as a team,” she said. “I’m looking forward to racing in this jersey and hopefully achieving many successes together as a team.”
Her focus on identity reinforces the idea that SD Worx-Protime view the kit as part of a wider strategy rather than a seasonal refresh.
Bold, bright, and instantly recognisable, the 2026 SD Worx-Protime kit sets a confident tone for the season ahead. Kopecky’s return to team colours gives the launch emotional depth, while Van der Breggen’s emphasis on ambition ties the New Dawn concept into the wider evolution of the squad. As the peloton begins to prepare for the early races, few teams will enter the year with a clearer or more striking visual identity.
