  Doubt it, Very few are asking for this change and viewership of GTs certainly doesn’t seem to be suffering. Protests don’t depend on when races are organised but on “outside” circumstances, a bit strange to mix everything together. Besides, the protests shiwed an ABILITY in change ;-) But seriously, changing for the sake of changing something that more or less worked? Shall we look at the mess LIV created, and for what? People don’t continue watching Football because the competition format or match playing time changes but because they want to watch football, same in cycling. And finally (for now), I doubt very much viewers give a hoot if weather conditions disrupt a couple of stages, just like in football, it’s a hiccup that doesn’t matter post competition.

  Spot on Brian now the pressure to perform starts.Ineos pay well however they are for results. Picnic post NL was a team bit like Wanty where there was no pressure to get results other than do your best. This will be the first time where he has a true leadership role and other team mates will be expecting him to perform. My prediction top 10 max TDF.
