Neither Pogi or Vinnie can be proud of a race without competition. Vinnie road the Giro because he wants all three GT's, knowing he will never again win the Tour de France. Pogi road it only to check it off his list. Next year, Pogacar will only have the Basque Country, the Vuelta and Roubaix left to win. In 2027 he should race Basque Country, LBL Giro, Tour, Vuelta and finally Lombardy and then retire at the top when it comes to GT and one-week races. From 2028 he has to gain 3-4 kg and compete only in classics, just like MVDP. That's where his heart is. Pogi hates GT's because he doesn't like the tactics in such races. In one day races you leave your heart on the road, you bring your body to the maximum, it's that one day, and when it's over it's over.
