- Riis, I'm confused by your flip flopping.
- If you call this correctly I may send you $10,000.
- Of course it’s unlikely but even in 2025 there are firsts for everything. I don’t want to draw attention to negatives but it’s also been a pretty long time since ….. many bad things and there is absolutely no reason why they won’t happen again, like eg a massive earthquake in LA or Tokyo, we discount so many obvious possibilities.
- That’s what happens when it’s totally unclear who’s going to prevail, people start to nanomanage odds in their head, desperate to be more right or first.
- Also, when you give half a dozen people a chance, you kind of put all the odds of being partially right on your side.
- Nobody amongst us! Show me one message predicting Healy was.going to take out 4 mins on Pog. Someone somewhere with nothing to lose is always going to go and predict niche outcomes and if you have the time to do the rounds, you’ll find it back retroactively. Next time you discover an unusual interesting prediction, let us know, in advance so we can see how it plays out, maybe show some good faith by starting with 2moros’ action.
PS, you do realise your posting history is starting to make you look obsessive don’t you? More interested in finding ways to attack me than discussing cycling, riders or anything else.
- Yes, unfortunately it’s still very difficult to get sprinters to ride in a way that doesn’t endanger others, their sense of the limit you can go to to take advantage of others without causing serious danger or risk seems to vary/be very random from one rider and day to another. Unfortunately, even though they don’t do a good job, it will still take a big effort from the UCI to scare riders into riding more preventatively.
- Could happen, but if the past teaches us anything, that's highly unlikely. In a sense it did happen with Contador and Froome back in 2014 when they were trying to catch up to the shark from Messina.
- You ignored the possibility they crash each other out.
- It's hilarious and ridiculous at the same time.
