- No. I think he was in the limit from pulling the entire climb like Jonas on Ventoux
- Remco and Florian would be as good as it gets for co-leadership.
- He’s been a damp squib since day one of the tour.. I’m going to attack but he’s never really put Pogi under pressure at any point.
The tour has been utterly brutal, the first ten days were intense the mountains harsh! Yesterday and today were as brutal as I can remember the Alps in many years
- My bad mobk, didn't see that
- Does anyone doubt that Pogacar could have won this stage if Arensman wasn't a friend? He comfortably pulled at the front fast enough that Onley was dropped, the gap to Arensman was made smaller, and Vingegaard wasn't able to attack until the last few meters while Pogi freewheeled over the line.
- Of course he has. He already proved it. With a strong team like bora, they would be able to compete more with Visma and UAE
- I was replying to the comment from Scott claiming Tadej was tired from pulling Jonas :-)
- Who thought Simon Yates was going to win another GT? I wouldn't write off Remco's chances especially if he lucks into another GT where the top riders are absent or crash out
- So, how was, what I was saying, I plying that. If you want to comment, go for it, but this doesn't help ajy conversation.
- Reading the comments below makes me think all the way back to the start of 2024. At that point some people were saying Pogi was riding the Giro because CLEARLY he would never beat Vingo at the tour again! Those comments didn't age so well and I wonder if the comments below won't age so well either. Who knows what will happen at the Vuelta, let alone next year?
I for one am glad that Jonas at least tries to take on Tadej (even if he fails like this Tour). The ultimate GC snoozefest was the 2024 Giro where every GC rider not named Tadej was racing for second place from Day 1 and there was not a single attempt to challenge Tadej.
